All individuals have their own way of working, something that suits either them personally or the context they find themselves in. Sometimes there is consensus and sometimes there is not. The idea of these pages is to show the rules-of-thumb that people have adopted over the years. It can be a contentious topic, and to avoid arguments the proposal at this stage is that people will make their own statements rather than argue the rights and wrongs of individual approaches.
Since preferences are often determined by environment it is suggested that each page consist of a paragraph describing the environment in which the person uses APL before their set of guidelines.
