Open Source APL: NARS2000

NARS2000 is an Open Source APL.

Don't expect ODBC, .NET access, OO-features or something. But if you want to play around with the language as such, you get a fully-fleged, stable interpreter.

  • It's right now (2009-07) just three files: the EXE, a licence statement and a font.
  • It's just 1.8 MB - unzipped.
  • No installation required - run the EXE and that's it.

This is by far the easiest way to gain some experience with APL

NARS2000 is designed to run under Windows XP or better. You may, however, run it under Linux when Wine is installed.
