If you find that in particular the small sizes of your preferred APL Unicode font look very ugly indeed in a browser (any browser that is) there is something you can do.
Follow these steps which are taken from XP:
Open "Start > Setting > Control Panel"
- Select "Display"
- Select Tab "Appearance"
- Click button "Effects"
From the selection box underneath "Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts:" select "ClearType"
- Click OK and OK
- Press F5 if you are already looking at a page with APL chars.
