In 2007-11 we got recognized by chinese spammers. What an honour! To prevent these guys from putting tons of nonsense into the wiki the way to become an author is slightly different now: after creating a user account you are still not able to edit an article, let alone to add one. An adminstrator needs to take action by putting your chosen username onto a group. You will get an email as soon as this is done. Normally, this will take up to 24 hours, but under special circumstances this may take longer. Read [:FrontPage/AboutTheWiki:About], HelpOnEditing and [:SpecialCharacters:displaying APL characters and editing APL code] before you start.
